Love

After 12 Gidget Birthdays together, I think this year, Mike has really outdone himself. Gidget Birthday Fortnight is still going, but I had to interject here and brag about how cool Mike can be. He has been doing nice things for me everyday, here is a taste:

- Clean kitchen each day when I come home from work (including using the Magic Eraser to make things sparkle).
- Flowers delivered a full 4 days early to my office so I can enjoy them all week.

- Loading and unloading the dishwasher (ok I know we share this stuff normally, but usually both of us whine about it.... having it just DONE rocks!)
- Polished my scuffed up shoes, my favorite shoes
- Brought home too many awesome cupcakes from New York Cupcakes. Mmmm (by the way, birthday cupcakes have 0 calories)

- Got up super early on my actual birthday and made my favorite breakfast... BLT!
- Took me out to a lovely dinner overlooking the marina as the sun set.
- Built a lovely fire that we enjoyed while watching movies

- Gave me an adorable card
- Vacuumed the whole house more than once during the week!
- Brought me an alka seltzer in bed (no need to explain the need, right?)
- Went and had a Manicure & Pedicure with me (his first mani, he already loves pedis)


Ok, some of those he does on non Gidget Birthday Fortnight time frames, but still. The bad thing after all this, he is screwed for the years ahead. How will he ever top this?

I lub him. He is my favorite husband. I am keeping him.
